This individual will providemission engineering analysis to support DoD space assets. He/she willsupport an operational squadron at Schriever AFB, CO.Roles and Responsibilities include: Support the Mission Support Flight, develop orbital analysis inputs for theMission Planning Cell (MPC), and coordinate with AFSPC, National SpaceDefense Center (NSDC), and unit Mission Protection Staff Perform independent review of execution results vs. government plans(e.g., fuel usage) Provide anomaly resolution support and potential corrective strategies Support exercise scenario development, OI, checklist, and Plans of Instruction creation and maintenance Provide education training support to include use of software tools to flyall mission-required profiles Recommend changes to unit orbit analysis to improve quality, quantity andtimeliness of data Support Developmental Test/Operational Test (DT/OT) Provide general support: attend meetings; provide feedback and notes;review and comment on concepts, training - products, testing products andacquisition documents; and provide data collection, analysis and lessonslearned to support ongoing programs and future concept developmentsQualifications: Bachelor's degree and 6 years of related work experience 8 years of work experience in lieu of bachelor's degree Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility 2 years of orbital analysis experience Possess good interpersonal skills and must be adept at oral and writtencommunicationDesired Qualifications: Knowledge of Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN) or similarsystem operations Proficiency in using STK, FreeFlyer, or other orbital analysis tools Skill in coordinating projects characterized by high visibility, urgency,and/or program criticality Ability to communicate complex ideas both orally and in writing clearly andconcisely and with technical accuracy using tact and diplomacyEEO Statement:Engility Corporation is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer,making decisions without regard to race, color, religion, creed,sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, national origin,age, veteran status, disability, or any other protected class.
