SAIC Project Manager in COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado
Description
SAIC in support of our Satellite Ground Systems Prime Contract as an immediate need for a Project Manager for Mission Operations located in Colorado Springs, CO. The successful candidate will support the team through a focus on mission management, including budget, resources, facilities, staffing and business processes.
Major duties of the position include:
Manage and integrate activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensure technical, schedule, cost and financial performance.
Define and/or contribute to the overall program baseline by ensuring project completion and execution comply with contract requirements and baseline.
Manage project performance, risk, customer relationships, and program staffing.
Ensure compliance with contractual, quality standards and escalation to the Deputy Program Manager as needed.
Support business development and project resource management with program management and other project managers.
Qualifications
Bachelors of Science degree with 9+ years preforming project management on complex technical projects. Understanding of cost account management/financial principles.
Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within 6 months.
Cost, Technical and Schedule baseline management experience.
Must have proven ability to execute all phases of a project from concept to close out. Experience with projects greater than $1M in budget.
Preferred:
PMP certification or equivalent training desired
Cost Account Management experience is a plus
STEM, Business Management, Construction Management are a plus
Target salary range: $85,001 - $95,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
