Vectrus Project Scheduler in Colorado Springs, Colorado
Project Scheduler is responsible for working closely withtechnical experts/project leads and project managers in creating and managingproject schedules. Work closely with others in linking critical activitiesacross multiple projects. Creating and publishing high level integrated masterschedules.
·Project Scheduler is responsible for workingclosely with technical experts/project leads and project managers in creatingand managing project schedules. Work closely with others in linking criticalactivities across multiple projects. Creating and publishing high levelintegrated master schedules.
·Coordinates and tracks multiple key projects andtasks.
·Performs as a lead scheduler while assistingdepartment with special projects.
·Maintains a resource loaded and networkedprogram schedule for on-going and special projects that can be utilized toanalyze resource allocations, mission completion dates, and “what if” analysis.
·Tracks and updates personnel and projectsprogress and critical path on a daily basis.
·Creates tracking reports for various levels ofmanagement.
·Coordinates project schedules and recommendsappropriate lead-lag times.
·Plans workload for multiple project managementteams and de-conflicts resources.
·Provides forward looking schedule analysis toLeadership.
·Interfaces between Senior Management and LeadProject Coordinators to gather data and adjust scheduling parameters.
·Contributes to program proposal preparationefforts.
·Works with project subcontractors to communicatescheduled task and schedule variances.
·Performs other duties and assignments asrequired.
MATERIAL& EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:
·Use of computers with Microsoft softwareproducts (e.g. Excel, Word, Project, and Power Point) as well as otherscheduling software. Use of printers, calculator, FAX machine, copy machine andother general office equipment.
·Work is generally conducted in an officeenvironment; however, duties may consist of work in out-door areas with apotential exposure to extreme climatic conditions/ambient temperatures.
·10 - 15% travel anticipated.
MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may besubstituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
·High school diploma or equivalent required.Bachelor’s degree desired.
·Two (2) years of experience working as a ProjectScheduler for several projects simultaneously. Two (2) years of MS Project.
·Intermediate to advanced skills using MS Excel,Word, PowerPoint, advanced skills using MS Project.
·Strong organizational and communication skills.
