SECURITY ANALYST II COLORADO SPRINGS-CO-US SUMMARY: The SECURITY ANALYST will execute in accordance to established procedures andprocesses to provide safeguarding of information, technology, employeesand company property. In addition, the Security Analyst will manage securityclearances and other security policies and procedures in accordance with NISPand COMSEC policies. Support duties include force protection analysis, FSOCertification through Defense Security Service; serve as the AlternateFacility Security Officer (AFSO); serve as Alternate CommunicationSecurity (COMSEC) Custodian. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Implement CAES Special Security Agreement (SSA) requirements,CAES Security policies and procedures and physical security programs andactivities at the site level. * Manages physical access to buildings, couriers, clearances anddebriefings. * Develops and implements security procedures in coordination withgovernment agencies and management personnel. * Conducts security briefings and security education programs in theNational Industrial Security Program (NISP) and Communication Security(COMSEC) in the COMSEC Material Control System (CMCS) and CAES SpecialSecurity Agreement (SSA) requirements. * Prepares and submits routine documentation to management. * Identifies program issues and implements corrective actions toidentified security problems. * Ensures accuracy of security databases (SIMS). * Provides security education and awareness training to all levels ofemployees and to perform all aspects of the NISPOM in the absence of theSecurity Manager. of physical security programs to include management of guardservices and administrating Industrial Security practices for AeroflexColorado Springs, Inc. DBA Cobham Semiconductor and Space Solutions incompliance with government regulations to maintain a classified FacilityClearance, using the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) andCommunication Security (COMSEC). OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Be a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT). SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Ability to manage contracted security guard force. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: * Preferred, a Bachelor s Degree (or the equivalent combination ofeducation and experience) and 3 years of related experience. * Extensive knowledge and experience in specialized area of expertise toinclude Department of Defense (DoD) in the National Industrial SecurityProgram (NISP) and Communication Security (COMSEC) in the COMSECMaterial Control System (CMCS). * Specialized knowledge of all security policies and procedures andability to interpret security requirements and apply them consistently acrossdiverse situations. GOVERNMENT CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: * Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense PersonnelSecurity Clearance up to and including the final Secret level which requires aUSA Citizenship * Government Security Clearance at the Secret level required. COMPUTER SKILLS: * Proficient with Microsoft Office software. * Proficient in the use of DOD Systems, like, COMSEC program(DIAZ), eQip and JPAS.
