OverviewPeraton is seeking a Software Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO tosupport our Department of Defense customer.Responsibilities The Software Engineer (Windows/Linux) will beresponsible for software development, deployment, testing, and patchingto address interoperability issues of space information systems acrossmultipleThis specifically includes:* Engineer, design, install, implement, and configure informationmanagement and database software as well as provide ongoing support forPhoenix* Collaborate with onsite and offsite team members within the company andoutside groups* Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Phoenix Prime;* Excellent knowledge base in DNS, DHCP, PKI certificates, LDAP,SMTP, HTTPS, SFTP, PostgreSQL, and MySQL to solve technical orfunctional issue* Write and maintain custom plugins to increase system capacity forinformation ingestion, transformation, and dissemination;* Document software at user and API levels;* Document system configurations to include network topologies, informationproducts, access controls, software versions, and system workflows.QualificationsREQUIRED:* Bachelor degree in a Computer Science, Electrical Engineering,Physics, or Mathematics* 8+ years of software development experience (14+ years without degree)* 4+ years of Java EE development* 3+ years of RESTful web services development* 3+ years of JDBC development for SQL databases* LDAP and PKI certificate management* Development of XML document handling, transformation and managementPREFERRED:* Successful track record of proactive problem solving.* Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a team environment.* Knowledge of programming for the AWS platform.* Familiarity with the JavaScript and XACML languages.* Current Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain SCI security accessSECURITY CLEARANCE:Candidate must possess a current TS/SCI security clearance and maintain theclearance.About Peraton Peraton provides innovative, reliable solutions to thenation's most sensitive and mission-critical programs and systems.
