Ent Credit Union Site Reliability Engineer - Tech Lead - SITER02551 in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Position Description:Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will ensure the health andavailability of all Member and Business facing production applications andservices. This will involve designing and deploying a robustmonitoring/alerting strategy, defining and implement self-healingcapabilities, creation and updating of runbooks/playbooks, triaging andsolutioning production incidents, and mentoring other operational teammembers in things like IaC, CI/CD, DevOps, Automation. You will workclosely with the various teams in Planning, Development, QA, andOperations to development new business solutions, improve existingcapabilities, and creating permanent solutions for repeating incidents.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure highly available IT solutionsReview/Design/Implement automated pro-active monitoring strategy includingtools.Design and Implement resiliency and scaling into Corebanking systems.Create/Enhancement existing system and service runbooks.Influence and Drive Polices and Operational ProcessesCreate/Publish/Govern Operational Standards and Best practices.IE System logging standardsCreate and Own Metrics that matter.Mean-time-to-restore (MTTR)Mean-time-between-incidents (MTBI)Operation Team MatureStay current on new technologies, practices, and methodologies.Mentor operational team members on emerging technology and practices.Infrastrucutre as Code (IaC)Devops CultureCI/CDAutomation/Self-HealingOther duties as requiredMinimum formal education required for this position:Knowledge consistent with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science,Information Technology, Management Information Systems, ComputerInformation Systems, or a related field.Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in arelevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement ofKnowledge Consistent with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and 2+ years ofaccounting experience could be substituted for a High School Diploma and 6years of relevant accounting work experience or a Masters Degree in Accountingand 0 years of work experience.Minimum work experience:10+ years experience in all aspects of SDLC (including ITILv2foundation), to include 5+ years as Developer or Operation Serviceprovider, Senior Developer or Operations Service provider, and cloudexperienceTechnical or specialized knowledge/skills:Ability to demonstrate strategic, data-driven thinking combined withefficient implementationHands-on, self-starter with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, andability to influence those around, above, or below their levelExperienced in creating and presenting technology to C-level executivesAble to create, lead, or participate in Agile and WaterfallSymitar or experience in Credit Unions or Financial IndustryProficient with OpCon or other tools like Correlation Engine,Orchestration, AutomationAdvanced knowledge of VM and Windows system administration or UNIX (AIX 6.1or higher) system administrationIntermediate knowledge of building and supporting CI/CD pipelinesIntermediate knowledge of building Pro-Active end to end Business servicemonitoring solutionsProficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word/Excel/Outlook).Certifications required:NoneEnvironmental, physical and psychological requirements:Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time in aclimate-controlled environment. Must be able to use fingers, hands, wristsfor repetitive tasks such as typing, using a mouse, handling paper,currency, or coin, and operating a telephone.
