As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

We are looking for hands-on engineers with a passion to solve interestingproblems in distributed systems and high availability. As a Principal Member ofTechnical Staff, you will own the software design, development and deploymentof various critical components of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
You should be a hands-on coder with ability to dig deeper into any part of thestack. In depth understanding of the fundamentals of distributed systems. Youalso be able to apply those fundamentals to real-world problems and come upwith specialized solutions. In your work you will interact and co-operate withpeople working in different areas of the stack.
5 years of experience in delivering and managing highly scalable and highlyavailable distributed systems.
Strong knowledge of low level systems. Should understand the fundamentals ofwhat is going on within a machine at all levels.
Strong knowledge of C. Additional knowledge of C or Java ispreferred.
Excellent understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
