Ent Credit Union Supervisor Digital Application Support - SUPVD02809 in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Position Description:The Supervisor of Digital Application Support leads the team responsible forsupporting application hosted in the cloud or 3rd party application. DigitalApp support Supervisor will also lead the SRE function which is responsiblefor building automation and advance application monitoring. Both teams willwork under the direction of the supervisor of Digital Application Analysis andSupport to support end users, facilitate technology implementations forproject activities (e.g. upgrades, deploy new applications ortechnology), and identify process improvement opportunities for businessunits.The Supervisor of Digital Application Support will ensure the team understandsthe features and functions of their systems, will know how employees usethose systems to perform their job functions, will ensure systems aredocumented, and report monthly on their services performance.The Supervisor of Digital Application Support will ensure the team is aprimary point of contact for analysis on what those systems do and how thosesystems can be configured or enhanced to meet current and evolving businessunit needs.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:The Supervisor of Digital Application Support leads the team responsible forsupporting application hosted in the cloud or 3rd party applicationWork with the IT Operations Leadership Team to develop strategic direction ofIT systems and supportManage and provide technical direction for members of the Digital ApplicationSupport team and SRE team with regard to:Production excellence/accuracy of daily postingProactive capacity planning for key systemsEnsuring Disaster Recovery capability of key systemsAdherence to policies and proceduresEnsure delivery of timely, knowledgeable, and cost-effective support ofcore systems.Analysis of business unit needs and ways in which applications can beconfigured/used to meet current and future needs.Identify potential business unit process improvement opportunities.Develop understanding of systems and the way Ent staff use systems to servemembers.Project Management:Project Management and oversight of Application Support projects.Research and Testing:Research, test and recommend technology solutions.Staff Development:Mentoring/coaching.Ensuring/augmenting staff knowledge of credit union operations.Assist in setting goals and objectives for staff.Assist manager in coordinating activities of the team, i.e. scheduling,shift management and other administrative duties.Provide input to manager on staff performance relating to technology but doesnot prepare or deliver reviews.Disaster Recovery Testing/Execution:Readiness for recovery of workstations at various locations per recovery planSupport testing/certification of systems readiness by providing workstationsand expertise on core processing systems of recordStrategic Development/Support:Work with the IT Operations Leadership Team to develop strategic direction ofIT systems and support.Budget and Procurement of IT services, systems, and technology:Budget creation/accountabilityManage purchases of equipment, software licenses, and maintenance contracts.Periodic review/reduction of vendor expensesDriving down the lights on cost of ITOther duties as requiredMinimum formal education required for this position:Knowledge consistent with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science,Information Technology, Management Information Systems, ComputerInformation Systems, or another relevant field.Preferred Education:Relevant Post-Graduate work / Continued educationEach year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in arelevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement ofKnowledge Consistent with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and 2+ years ofaccounting experience could be substituted for a High School Diploma and 6years of relevant accounting work experience or a Masters Degree in Accountingand 0 years of work experience.Minimum work experience:5+ years of combined IT experience in application su
