Are you ready to launch your career?ResponsibilitiesThe System-of-Systems Engineering (SOSE) Office provides a wide array ofarchitectural and portfolio analysis capabilities and integrates expertise andother system analysis and design capabilities from across the AerospaceEngineering and Technology Group (ETG) to support our customers' mostchallenging acquisition, portfolio, enterprise, and cross-systemarchitectural decisions.Key FunctionsProvide engineering and analytical support to government customers in the areaof systems architecture and system-of-systems engineeringInteract directly with government customers as well as Aerospace programoffice personnelDevelop and maintain Enterprise Architectures complying with DoDAF supportinggovernment customersFacilitate the definition and development of architecture capabilities,activities, and mapping to existing and future systems with governmentcustomerCollaborate closely and remotely with the current SOSE team in ColoradoSprings, CO, El Segundo, CA, and Chantilly, VAFacilitate the deployment or implementation of existing Aerospace tools andframeworks with government customersUnderstand customer problems and issues and turn them into tasks that can besupported by Aerospace capabilities at largeIdentify new capabilities and enhancements to current capabilities that willbetter support the customer baseProvide ongoing technical consultation and advice to management,customers, and contractorsTake initiative to inform management of perceived technical problems andrecommend courses of actionAct as organization's designated representative at technical meetings,presentations, and symposiaOccasional travel may be requiredQualificationsRequiredCurrent Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCIBachelor's degree in science, mathematics or engineeringFive (5) or more years of increasingly responsible professionalengineering/scientific experience, including multi-disciplinary systemsengineering and/or program management environmentsDemonstrated participation in system architecting activitiesProven ability with DoDAF and common architecture modeling tools such as SparxEA, GENESYS, Rhapsody, or CameoDemonstrated participation of broad, multidisciplinary teams involvingsystem design, acquisition and/or operations in one or more of thefollowing areas: satellite systems, ground systems, launch systems,spacecraft buses, and spacecraft payloadsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability toestablish and maintain effective working relationshipsProven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly tochange, and demonstrate initiative under pressureDesiredCurrent TS/SCI clearanceStrong knowledge of systems-of-systems (SoS) engineering and architectingand model-based system engineering (MBSE) discipline, literature,tools, and processesPrior experience with space enterprise architecture development and enterprisevalue modeling, analysis, and concurrent engineering techniquesPrior experience with related Aerospace architecting and design capabilities(CDC, PDST, various performance, cost, and risk analysis tools, etc.)Prior knowledge of the breadth and depth of ETG's technical capabilities andcustomer base with the ability to support from remote Aerospace locationsTranscript RequirementTranscripts are requ
