Engage government product owners in defining the context, problem space, and vision to determine capabilities, priorities, road maps, transformation plans and next steps.
Proven technology and interpersonal experience.
Develop mappings between capabilities and the services these capabilities enable.
Develop agile processes and plans for the program while identifying their core competencies and capabilities.
Provide vision in detail-oriented models.
Ability to identify, develop, and document interconnections between services and systems as well as the functions performed by the services and systems within the EGS architecture.
Provide details of service resource flow elements being exchanged between services.
Experience with hardware/software requirements definition, allocation, management, validation, and verification.
Ability to help develop and document system specification documents like interface control, system risk management, and system configuration.
Help Agile teams achieve and document a common architecture.
Support EGS product owners with model creation, simulation development, and other required analysis tools.
Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, supportability, and analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, and operations.
Experience with evaluations on system design and alternative designs, while including cost and risk.
Develop system simulations and modeling for design validation and mission impacts.
Document and present technical definition on services.
Implement service integration on a large scale.
Work with the team to develop processes and procedures.
Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts to enhance mission operations.
Provide support in developing technological concepts that will help improve system performance and overall capability.
Active DoD Secret clearance; Clearable to TS/SCI.
5+ years of related experience in information technology.
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related technical field from an accredited institution.
Experience in enterprise integration concepts and technologies to include Service-oriented architecture-based solutions.
Spacecraft Ground System domain experience.
Engineer service-based solutions within a large Cloud and/or Virtual environment.
Understanding of DoD Cybersecurity components and how they work across multiple domains.
Provide direction and oversight for service and system design through the entire life cycle.
Interface with internal and external customers and teams as a technical liaison.
Evaluate customer and operational needs to define performance requirements.
Assure compatibility of all physical and functional interfaces.
Develop architecture artifacts to be used for system. understanding, deployment, and troubleshooting.
Support agile team meetings as a EGS technical focal point.
Good written and presentation/verbal communication skills
Working experience with SysML - SysML certification
Experience with MBSE tools like Cameo or SparxEA
Ability to work in a multi-stakeholder environment
Data management experience
Collaborate effectively with multi-cultural and often dispersed teams.
Seasoned and well-rounded engineering background in satellite ground systems design and deployment.
Experience in microservices and event-based architecture.
Experience with existing and emerging cloud-based technologies.
Understanding of message-oriented middleware, software design patterns, JMS, and web type services.
