Job Description:

Arrow is looking for a Sales Engineers to provide technical direction and business guidance to our channel partner community in North America. As a Sales Engineer, you will be accountable for driving partner enablement, delivering innovative technical activates that grow sales pipeline and overseeing day-to-day technical account-level activities that help accelerate the close rate of opportunities. You will be responsible for evangelizing, positioning, and architecting technology solutions for the channel partners within your assigned region.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provides technical enablement and direction to channel partners and internal sales staff in the development of fully integrated technology solutions in the assigned market on behalf of our supplier AMD

  • Assists in channel partner-led Arrow delivered demand generation activities that create leads and grows sales pipeline

  • Qualifies AMD sales opportunities in the terms of end customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding in partnership with Arrow channel partners

  • Leads technical sales calls with and on behalf of channel partners – focus is on discovery, analysis, design, demonstration, and refinement of AMD opportunities to accelerate opportunity close rate

  • Demonstrates technical leadership and subject matter expertise on AMD CPU and GPU products.

  • Makes technical sales presentations to channel partner’s technical and sales staff

  • Serves as a trusted technology influencer to channel partners and serves as an internal Arrow resource on technical plays or specific business applications and outcomes within an assigned market segment

  • Successfully builds relationships with the Arrow account team, partners and end users in support of sales objectives, engages and leverages Arrow horizontal resources, abilities, budgets and personnel as appropriate

  • 5 – 7 years of sales engineering experience preferably in a data center environment

  • Experience with x86 server platforms – Intel, AMD

  • Experience with Operating systems – Windows, Linux, Unix

  • Experience with AMD CPU and GPU products – highly preferred

  • Ability to present effectively in front of groups

  • AMD or like industry certification desired

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$132,750.00 - $162,250.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
