Audio QA Engineer

  • Demonstrates QA skills, including a complete product cycle from inception to customer shipment.

  • Experience shipping customer facing products a plus;

  • Experience with automation test tools and techniques;

  • Experience with continuous integration and automation testing;

  • Experience with hardware and/or software development lifecycle;

  • Understanding of Digital Audio, Bluetooth Audio, and Embedded Audio systems;

  • Experience with testing embedded consumer electronics or mobile devices;

  • Ability to work with multi-functional and remote teams to collectively achieve test goals;

  • Strong written and verbal communication as well as presentation skills;

  • Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g. Jira, Bugzilla, etc.);

  • Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced and informal environment;

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with other teams to organize testing responsibilities.


Establish testing procedures, using automation where possible, to evaluate audio functionality and quality; You will own complete functional areas and must be able to define qualification strategies, as well as execute functionality, compatibility, integration and reliability testing; Work with audio hardware and software teams on new technology products, including cross-functional testing and reporting with other QA teams, developers and project managers; Isolate and report defects, and verify fixes through regression testing and other test methodologies. Contribute to the development of automation tests for macOS and iOS.

Education & Experience

BS CS/EE or equivalent
