Provide direct Application Support and Maintenance for Radian'scritical business line applications. Troubleshoot & resolve productionincidents; develop and test small enhancements and defect fixes. Implementand enhance monitoring solutions to maintain stability; create and maintaina knowledge base to ensure adequate knowledge transfer, and manage therelationships with development and infrastructure teams to ensure appropriatedevelopment and implementation of advanced technical solutions. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Production support to include problem resolution, applicationadministration and configuration, application support for SDLC relatedproduct (small enhancements, defect fixes, minor refactoring) * Create Knowledge Base Articles for L1 Self-Support * Create Playbooks for L2 Configuration and Base Support Activities * Test Environment Creations, ChangesJOB SPECIFICATIONSKNOWLEDGE: * Solid background in application support; specialized training orequivalent work experience * Experience of working within a ticketing system with a clearunderstanding of SLA s * Excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills * Excellent analytical and problem solving skills * Experience in customer support orientated environment * Ability to develop strong client relationships and work with bothtechnical and non-technical users on issues * Understanding of Incident and Problem ManagementSKILLS AND ABILITIES: * Experience of the following technologies: JIRA, Confluence,Rally, Subversion, BitBucket, GIT, Bamboo, Jenkins * Experience with an Object Oriented Programming Language (Java,C#, VB.NET) * Experience with SQL and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle,MySQL) * Experience of working in a distributed team of technical staff /working in technology organization * Experience of working in an environment subject to Change Control,implementation policies and standards * Strong documentation skills, ability to organize and prioritizeworkload PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE: * 5 - 8 years of related work experience EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALS: * HS Diploma/GED in Math, Science, Computers or related field required. * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems orrelated field preferred.
