Oracle Brand Experience Design Technologist in Denver, Colorado
Responsible for creating, evaluating and modifying prototypes to support evolving hardware and software application development.
As a member of the User Experience team, you will develop and apply software design/usability processes in the investigation of technical problems. May develop user profiles, with emphasis on human error control, display issues, visual interaction, physical manipulation and task and objective analyses. Provide product usability, evaluation and support to product development teams, including the analysis and investigation of applications/systems including tactile methods, visual graphics, web, multimedia, voice response and conversational user interaction. May assist in developing design concept and implementation, providing input on user design considerations. May produce specifications describing user needs and internal structures for product in development.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically seven years of software engineering or related experience needed.

What will you do as a Designer on the Brand Experience team at Oracle?
You will help the team conceptualize, create, and strengthen our brand
assets; prototypes, production applications, internal tools, design system, and style guides.
You will develop and maintain a high level of strategic brand consistency across digital platforms.
You will create prototypes to help communicate our brand strategies.
You will collaborate with multiple technology teams to help them

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
As a member of the Brand Experience team, your focus will be to oversee and lead on design concepts, build out Oracle brand assets, and develop visually compelling & strategic communications and content. You will work closely with the marketing and product teams to create and bring ideas to life that help drive customer engagement for Oracle, while constantly pushing creative boundaries to create truly impactful experiences for our customers.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel.Typically 4 years of software engineering or related experience needed.
Proficiency with at least one web framework such as React, VueJS, Angular, Ember, or KnockoutJS
Solid knowledge of web technologies and how they work
Experience with Data Structure and Databases
Experience or familiarity with Design Systems and how they work
Understanding of preprocessors such as SASS, LESS, Stylus, Babel, and Jade
Experience with Webpack, Gruntjs, and/or Gulp
Experience with NodeJS/NPM
Familiarity with APIs and REST
Git or another version control system
Experience building application using Cloud Services
UX and Visual design skills
Advanced HTML5 Canvas
Accessibility best practices
Mobile development (Android and/or iOS)
Back-end languages such as PHP, Java, Python, Ruby, etc
Experience with Cloud deployment and maintenance
Experience with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
