•A deep understanding of network security principles and how to apply them in the DDI space.
•A deep understanding of the Domain Name System and critical core concepts of BIND based software.
•Minimum 3 years’ experience designing and implementing Infoblox DDI in large enterprises with complex networks.
•Experience working with 3rd party internet DNS hosting services.
•An understanding of cloud DNS like Route 53 and Azure DNS. Confidence in supporting DNS interoperability in hybrid cloud architectures.
•Strong knowledge and enterprise experience with InfoBlox (DNS, WAPI/API, DDI and BloxOne)
•Experience migrating DNS services to or from Microsoft DNS and knowledge of how that impacts an Active Directory domain.
•A thirst for improvement and an inclination to thoughtfully challenge the status quo.
Desire to try things and iterate on them, fail fast, and focus on functionality that matters.
Leverage data to drive design and risk decisions using various sources and basic analytics to create clear metrics and reports.
•Experience managing security services or infrastructure in the media and entertainment industry.
•Understanding of DNS security mitigations and attack methodology (RPZ, blackholing, DDos, etc.)
•Ability to read and write basic logic in any scripting or programming language (Python preferred) to manipulate data or communicate with an API.
•Experience working with brand reputation services and leveraging external domain management.
•Firm knowledge of ITSM tools and processes with a clear vision on how to apply service management principles to DNS.
•A clear understanding of securing infrastructure in AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
•Experience using Terraform or Ansible (ideal, but not required).
