Covetrus Data Analyst II in Denver, Colorado
TheDataAnalyst IIwill be responsible for performing complex and detailedoperational analyses using internal and external data to provide insight todecision-makers and transforming that analysis into reports, dashboards,analytic apps, strategic/tactical plans, and forecasts based on businessdata and market knowledge. The applicant will build, document, and managedata flow processes. The position will support the various operationsdepartments as needed, including order processing and fulfillment, contactcenters, pharmacies, and supply chain. The position will also help providegovernance for our analytics tools and maintain standards for reporting withinour company's analyst community.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following.Other duties may beassigned.Listens to stakeholder data needs, collaborates with stakeholder andteammates to execute best solutionCreates compelling and exciting reporting to support leadership awareness anddecision making.Maintains existing reports and dashboards and updates them as changes occur.Documents work to support a collaborative environment.In partnership with key stakeholders, analyzes, tests and launches newinitiatives to increase productivity.Works closely with project managers to develop business cases to link betteroutcomes and cost savings through technology and workflow improvements.Assists in the governance of the company's analytical tools and processes.Performs ad hoc data analytics and reporting to support emergent requirements.Parses company data to identify customers and orders that meet certaincriteria to build contact lists for contact center representative use.Explains analytical findings to non-analytical colleagues.Supports operations team projects.QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in math, computer science, statistics, operationsresearch, or similar, or equivalent experience2 years of experience using SQL or a similar querying language2 years of experience using a mathematical programming language such as R orPython2 years of experience using reporting software such as Tableau, Alteryx,Talend, or Microsoft BIExperience creating data visualizationsExperience creating automated scripting or workflowsOperations experience preferred; Workforce planning experience preferredStrong skillset in Microsoft Office programsSee Leveling Guide Below based on years of experienceCOMPETENCIES (SKILLS AND ABILITIES)Critical and analytical thinkingProven problem solving abilitiesTime management and organizationDeductive and inductive reasoningAbility to multi-task and adapt to changing business needsStrong interpersonal skills which includes multiple forms of effectivecommunicationCovetrus is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
