Cigna Data Management Advisor in Denver, Colorado
Cigna is looking for a candidate to join the Government IT Business as a Site Readiness Advisor. As the Site Readiness Advisor you will be responsible for ensuring operational readiness and a smooth transition into production of IT developed business capabilities and data products. This includes; planning and executing operational readiness activities to support project and program timelines, ensuring technical and support documentation is complete, and that there is a smooth transition to the Government OPS Support team for production deployment and ongoing support.
Essential Functions (Job Duties and Responsibilities):
Work with Lead team to define and maintain the goals, criteria, and activities of operational readiness
Execute playbook of checklists, processes, approvals, gates, documentation all focused around site readiness and successful transition from development to OPS Support
Use project / program criteria, to maintain the operational readiness transition delivery project plans.
Report to IT and business stakeholders against operational readiness transition project objectives, accomplishments, deadlines, quality, and expectations.
Day-to-day management of operational readiness transition projects.
Work with team to define operational readiness for each project including warranty criteria and scope.
Work with team to ensure applicable support training and technical materials are available
Work with team to coordinate Release and Implementation Plans with contingencies
Track existence and clear understanding of operational SLAs and hand-offs
Engage and manage stakeholders effectively, resolving issues and understanding drivers/needs
Build and establishes effective relationships in order to elicit information from key individuals internally and externally.
Reflect a true picture, do not attempt to communicate only good news or what people want to hear but deliver a balanced view.
Plan and oversee operational readiness transition activities and ensure they are managed within the project budget, and in accordance with timescales, infrastructure and quality criteria
Facilitate and confirm sign off from release to production, acceptance of changes, benefit realization and business value
Looks ahead for potential issues and takes preventative action to mitigate any risks or issues in advance and avoid getting caught up in a permanent reactive mode Required Education and Experience:
Several years of work experience in IT, Data Analytics or Management – Healthcare knowledge a plus
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Service Management implementation experience
Application and or Project management experience a plus
Able to think and act on a long term base – build, plan, and execute.
Willing to travel a minimum of 25% as needed Knowledge-Skills-Abilities (Competencies):
Ability to build and establish strong and effective relationships and credibility
Basic understanding of business intelligence data warehouse technologies and methods including ETL tools, data warehouse methods and technologies, extracts and reporting, and business intelligence tools
Strong and effective collaboration and influencing skills
Familiar with both Waterfall and Agile Framework
Ability to drive and demonstrate continuous improvement
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
Ability to work independently – self starter
Responds to challenging priorities with a sense of urgency and pace
Strong analytical skills
Strong communication skills – both written and verbal Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, WAH is available. Travel: This position could require travel when needed
