Job SummaryThe Lead Technical Specialist is responsible for assisting the Digital SalesTeam, Territory Sales Representatives, and Regional Sales Managers withtheir key strategic accounts while providing instruction and implementation ofZimmer Biomets advanced technology products. This role supports the digitalportfolio in transitioning a customer into the routine use of Zimmer Biometsdigital solutions. The LTS is responsible for assisting customers withimplementation, installation, configuration, testing, monitoring,and troubleshooting of digital workflows. Specific objectives will bedeveloped quarterly with emphasis on product and sales support objectives.Principal Duties and Responsibilities1. Support technology implementation and training for North Americanclinicians and laboratory customers working within the Zimmer Biomet Digitalportfolio. 2. Provide post-sales support for North American clinician andlaboratory customers implementing new and existing workflows such as capitalequipment, custom abutments, CAD/CAM bars, and full arch restorations.3. Regularly and effectively communicate with internal departmentsincluding: Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Operations, ProductDevelopment, and IT as needed to ensure outstanding customer service as wellas continuous process improvement are implemented to support Zimmer Biometcustomers. 4. Resolve complex problems relating to scanning equipment andsoftware interface issues using CAD/CAM or Workflow Software that isnecessary to work with the BellaTek milling center. 5. Leads Digital Dentistryeducation both internally and externally as it relates to highly technicaldigital workflows used by Zimmer Biomet and the competitors of Zimmer Biomet.6. Assist in testing and validating new workflows and software updatesinternally. 7. Assist other departments within the organization in thepreparation of validation, manuals, and technical publications. 8.Maintains the most current information on Zimmer Biomet new products,technology, and techniques to continuously remain at a high level ofinstruction capability. 9. Creates technical documents for Sales to highlightspecific techniques or new findings and processes. 10. Participates incommunication and activities between Zimmer Biomet and other business partnersas needed. 11. Schedules and executes account visits with respective DigitalDentistry Sales Specialist, Territory Sales Representatives, and RegionalSales Managers to support laboratory customers and clinicians in the safe andeffective implementation and use of Zimmer Biomet digital products. 12.Informs Sales Management and relevant Marketing Product Managers abouttrends, challenges, and opportunities. 13.
