Key technology initiatives were set in motion before our company even had a name. Now we’re aiming to be the most technology enabled company in the outdoors & recreation space. We started this journey with Ikon – the first ski pass to deliver direct-to-lift access across 40+ resorts on different continents, across different systems, and with owned & partner resorts alike. We’re looking for an innovative leader to take our fulfillment platform to the next level as a core component of our enterprise technology architecture. You will lead a strong team of highly collaborative software engineers who’ve developed a culture of openness and trust. Your experience efficiently running systems at scale, optimizing system performance, and coordinating with product, digital and operations team will be key to our success. Your ability to support technology architecture sessions and collaborative decision making across teams will ensure we deliver long-term, high-value business capabilities.
This is a critical backend platform supporting $100MM+ revenue and driving our core guest experience – the less our guests know about this platform, the more seamless and enjoyable their experience is. Along the way, we’ll take some days for formal R&D efforts – after all, how do we know if we’re supporting our guest experience effectively if we don’t actually know the guest experience?
If you’re motivated to lead a team of engineers building enterprise-scale, distributed systems across on-premise and cloud services, and have some fun along with the challenges, then we look forward to speaking with you.
