With a strong blend oftechnical and sales skills the Enterprise Cloud Architect uses a consultativeapproach to understand business and technical requirements.The Enterprise Architect determines which Salesforce and third partytechnologies to leverage in customer driven architectures, based uponproduct knowledge, industry experience, industry standard EA frameworksand Salesforce EA methodologies.With a broad technology background including solution architecture,technical architecture, software/systems engineering, cloud computing,governance and SDLC, the Enterprise Architect leads key discussions andconsiderations around change programs from both a business and technicalperspeThe Enterprise Architect helps the sales teams develop industry specific,repeatable propositions and go to market strategies.The Enterprise Architect also participates in the delivery of solution bestpractices, reference architectures, educational sessions and industrysummits to existing customers, partners and to internal audiences.Your ImpactYou will be aligned to the Retail and Consumer Group. You will engage with thebiggest and most influential companies in the industrySaaS/software/hardware/services, product/component manufacturing,etc. As many of these organizations are in the midst of major digitaloptimization and transformation programs, you will align with key customerC-level executives to help them realize their transformational visions.Business planning and strategyBecome a trusted advisor to CIO/CTO/Chief Architect level contacts andtheir teams as they look to move their business to a cloud architectureEarn the trust of prospects' and customers' CISO/CSO/Chief RiskOfficer and similar.Present Salesforce technology infrastructure, including demonstrating deepfamiliarity with our platform capabilities, hosting infrastructure,security and integration capabilitiesUnderstand the customer need and establish our products as the best solutionthat addresses the technical and business requirementsConduct architecture and technical workshops that may include enablementsessionsManage customer technical due diligence and risk management processesWork closely with other elements of the Salesforce organization, e.g. cloudspecialists, alliances, sales effectiveness, industry business unit,product marketing, etc. to develop and execute internal and externalprograms and initiativesAssist sales teams in responses to RFPs and technical requirements documentsParticipate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training andcertification to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effectivein the positionAttain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by managementMentor and guide more junior technical resourcesMinimum QualificationsB.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent work experienceMulti-year experience in either software, system or enterprise architecturedisciplinesGood understanding of the architectural principles of cloud based platformsincluding SaaS, PaaS, multitenancy, multi-tiered infrastructure, etc.Good understanding of all cloud offerings in the market and ability to discusscloud architecturesGood understanding of enterprise application integration, including SOA,ESB, EAI,
