ECS performs projects that are up to severalhundred million dollars in revenue, as well as thousands of small projects.The type of facilities built by ECS companies include hospitals, datacenters, transportation and water infrastructure, power plants,hospitality/office/residential/education/institutional buildings,refineries, food processing plants, etc. ECS designs, installs andmaintains high-performance mechanical and electrical systems that enablesafe, effective, and high-quality lighting, electricity, security,plumbing, heating, cooling, and power generation. The Dynalectricteam, located in McLean, VA, provides key support for its electrical andmechan SUMMARY The ERP Business Analyst is a full-time position and acts as a liaisonfor all stakeholders in the technical documentation and implementationprocess. The Business Analyst ensures that consensus is reached on aproject's scope and requirements. Clear verbal and written communicationskills, and superior interpersonal, organizational and leadershipabilities are critical in this position. The Business Analyst can expect to work independently as well as part ofa team. Strong analytical, problem-solving, accounting knowledge,multitasking and decision-making skills are also important. Attention todetail and the ability to prioritize, delegate and execute tasks effectivelyare critical. The Business Analyst is based out of the ECS, Inc. office in McLean,VA, however other locations may be considered as long as the qualifiedBusiness Analyst is located near an airport. During critical phases ofprojects extended work hours will be required, which may include someweekends. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Serves as the lead technical writer of technical and businessrequirements documentation. This includes but is not limited to developingwritten documents within the required timeframe for ERP implementation andStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs). * Analyzes technical and functional client requirements and managesthose requirements through clear and precise documentation. This necessitatesworking closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and senior leaders tocollect, interpret and synthesize information needed to develop each writtendocument. * Performs quality reviews to ensure each document is accurate. Thisincludes but is not limited to including all critical concepts, utilizingwriting style requirements and appropriate templates of both ECS and operatingcompanies, and is written in a manner that is at the appropriatecomprehension level for the intended audience. * Provides leadership with respect to document templates andrepositories, integration issues including process mapping, businessprocess re-engineering, additional software integrations, and changemanagement * Develops, maintains, and manages detailed project plans withtasks, deliverables, and resource allocation necessary for successfulimplementation. * Supports ERP system users by providing troubleshooting, reportgenerating, SQL query writing and system analysis services - recommendingbusiness process improvements to leverage system features and functionality. * Manages project and documentation risks and resolves
