Bring your passion, potential andtalents to Motorola Solutions, and help us usher in a new era in publicsafety and security.Department OverviewThe Federal Cybersecurity (FCS)organization provides a variety of services and support for our FederalGovernment customers. The Federal government has many mandates and guidancedocuments that define the requirements for cybersecurity in IT systems such asDHS 4300a, DoD 8500.01, Executive Orders, and agency-specific mandates.These high-level requirements are the root of hundreds of lower-level guidancedocuments. Since MSI products share components with IT systems they mustcomply with these directives to obtain Authority to Operate (ATO)according to the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).To support our customers in meeting these objectives, the FCS organizationworks with MSI development engineering and 3rd parties to address theseever-changing government requirements. The scope of work includes systemhardening, system documentation, vulnerability scanning, complianceaudits using DISA STIG and SRGs, assessment of 800-53 controls, andworking with the customers' personnel who assess system risk and makedecisions on granting ATO. Our labs provide additional support for governmentrequirements for Host-Based Security System (HBSS) and PKIauthentication.Job DThe leader of this organization is responsible for:Provide strategic vision and strategy that is aligned to the organization andteam prioritiesRepresent and advocate for Federal cybersecurity requirements within MSI andwith 3rd party vendors.Interface with organizations who develop, support, and upgrade customersystems.Oversee Schaumburg Labs to secure funding, staffing, and support strategicdecisions.Support presale quoting and contract pricing for cybersecurity services toensure the ability to deliver necessary services.Track staff utilization and manage labor forecasting.Track revenue and manage costs.Create and maintain Service products for the work performed by theorganization.Ensure customer requirements are gathered and prioritized with Fed Salesrequirements to help drive development engineering cybersecurity requests.Oversee cybersecurity training requirements for technical personnel in USFGMD.Mentor, manage and ensure leadership and support staff are well trained andperform their responsibilities in line with defined policies and proceduresDrive enhancements in capabilities and processes to improve quality, reducecost, and expand services.Perform personnel administration duties.Develops business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses fordepartment spending and initiatives.Willing and able to travel up to 20% of the timeAdditional Experience:5 - 7 Years of Experience in Cybersecurity, preferably with Federalgovernment requirements.Management experience with personnel management, budget/costs management.Demonstrated leadership skills.The ability to develop relationships and collaborate with the management ofservice, support, engineering, and other cybersecurity organizationswithin MSI.The ability to communicate clearly and succinctly to both technical andnon-technical personnel. To be able to explain/translate complexrequirements and issues to make them easily understood.Ability and willingness to continually learn to keep current with MSI productofferings and the constant evolution of cybersecurity technology andrequirements.Proactive and
