Manager responsible for subordinatetechnicians andthe programming, maintenance, and repair of a country-wideASTRO P25 IVandD system with full IA certification including Master site,Management site, remote RF sites, MC75000 dispatch sites, Subscriberproducts, MESH AP's, and ACE3600 Fire Alerting Systems. The SystemTechnologist will interface with numerous US Military personnel as well asLocal Nationals employed by the US Military. Country wide travel to equipmentlocations is required and in some cases hiking into a site is also required.Repair, installation, implementation of Radio and Network communicationssystems for the US Military installation supported by this department.Verifies the pre-sale / post-sale Bill of Materials (BOM) with thecurrently shipping BOM to ensure consistency, evaluates pre-sales BOM fortechnical accuracy and accounts for any customization, provides technicalservices hours to pre-sales / post sales for systems and ST tasks for bothstandard and custom solutions, conducts order management for drop-shipcomponents to the P1 systems and is point of contact for all third partysupport relationships from the field. Provides "tier 3" support fortechnical issues in staging and the field for system technologist and stagingrAdditional Information:IAT III/IATII, A+, Network+, and Security+ Certified. Completeunderstanding of IT networks, STP, MRP, VLAN and VPN's including butnot limited to Cisco and Brocade Switches, Routers, and Servers utilizingWindows, Solaris, Redhat, and Linux operating systems. Ability to learnand repair Motorola's RF product line including Portables, Mobiles,Control Stations, and Repeaters.
