DaVita Finance Analyst in Denver, Colorado


  • Collaborate with key organizational stakeholders within our IT organization to develop new strategies and improve existing practices to ensure effective expense management

  • Serve as a trusted partner and strategic advisor to IT leaders in managing their teams’ budgets

  • Assist in developing IT costing models and manage IT expensing to our regional operating groups

  • Leverage understanding of financial statements, financial modeling, and a hypothesis-based approach to identify, validate and quantify opportunities

  • Identify cost savings opportunities and drive expense management initiatives

  • Demonstrate aptitude for critical thinking in complex situations with the ability to synthesize ambiguous data into concrete results

  • Convey findings in a cohesive story and present comfortably and compellingly to team IT and Finance leadership

  • Support special projects for the IT lane, including structuring the work, driving the right set of analyses and presenting the conclusions to management

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred

  • At least 2 years of experience required, preferably in a Finance or corporate strategy function of a large organization, or a top tier management consulting or financial services firm

  • Healthcare and IT background preferred

  • Complete proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and working knowledge of other MS Office products

  • Demonstrated ability to run data analyses with large data sets

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically by leveraging quantitative analysis to derive insights from the data

  • Strong understanding of business process with the ability to translate business requirements into meaningful reports and to deliver requested output timely and accurately
