Position Title: Help Desk Support IPosition Number: 357695Location: Denver, CO 80246Position Type: TemporaryRequired Skill Set:A+, Active Directory, Service Desk SupportPosition Description:**Only U.S. Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. can beconsidered as W2 candidates.**Position: Help Desk Support IStart Date: 02/08/2021Duration: 02/08/2021 - 06/30/2021Location: Denve CO 80246Description: Provides Tier 1 support for a wide range of enterprise and agency ITservice offerings. Effectively and efficiently resolves incoming Tier 1 support ticketsthrough preferred channels, and escalates for support when necessary. Installs, and supports specified software on supported devices followingdefined procedures, processes, and methods. In some cases, determinesthat the ticket should be transferred to a higher level support group. Abide by Service Level Commitments and OIT and agency policies. Employs incident management procedures to enter, and manage tickets inincident management system. Provides Tier II application, administration, and hardware support.Serves as an escalation point for tickets routed outside the Service Desk. Provide specific examples of regular, ongoing decisions made by thisposition related to this duty. Determines method to troubleshoot and resolve hardware or software issues. Decides what components may be involved and how to test these componentsto isolate the cause of the incident. Decides what steps to take to resolve the incident, which may includereinstalling software, changing settings, recreating profiles or placing aservice call to a hardware repair vendor.
