Java / AEM Software Engineer II
Provide intermediate detailed design, coding and unit testing of Software modules with limited direction from Technical lead/Senior Engineers.
Participates in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) as appropriate.
Write detailed design specifications, and unit test cases from Technical Specifications
Participates in code reviews and Technical spec and design reviews
Implements designs and makes adjustments based on system knowledge
Produce well-written technical documentation
Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple, sometimes competing priorities
Meets schedules and deadlines
Able to provide estimations of cost and effort
Generate innovative approaches and solutions to problems
Occasionally provide guidance to less-experienced staff
Work independently on complex tasks with some technical management
Configures application instances based on user and vendor requirements
Tests applications, application interfaces and reporting
Tests applications in QA environments before deployment in production
Provides Level 2 and 3 support.
May require some on-call coverage responsibilities.
kills, Requirements, and Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field or may
substitute an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2 years experience in software development
In depth knowledge Java or AEM
Experience working within an Agile environment.
In depth knowledge of software development methodologies
Possess aptitude for analytical problem solving
Intermediate design, code and testing skills
Ability to effectively utilize development tools such as compilers, debuggers, IDE etc.
Capable of detailed design, coding and testing with minimal supervision from Technical Lead/Senior Engineers
Healthcare experience a plus
Microservices is a plus
