SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*_:_*

The JD Edwards Business Analyst is responsible for continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating and improving reporting, use of JD Edwards programs, and working with the Change Control Board to implement improvements. The JD Edwards Business Analyst will work with other business leaders to drive improvements in business processes that require the use of JD Edwards.

A key initiative in this role is to implement EDI by leading a team to gather information from the customer about data requirements and work with the JDE implementation team to build the required supporting programs to roll out these initiatives.

REPORTING TO*:*Global Network Administrator

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a Business Analyst for JD Edwards Enterprise One, and other supporting business applications

  • Focus on daily Application Support of Enterprise One modules

  • Engage with development teams, and participate in efforts to provide new and enhanced JD Edwards Enterprise One functionality

  • Lead project team for EDI integration

  • Engage with the user community to identify enhancements for new projects

  • Support Enterprise One modules and related application issues

  • Responsible and accountable for quality production support to global end users

  • Support companywide projects related to the JD Edwards applications, including but not limited to developing and maintaining reports and interfaces, project migrations and provide functional and technical support.

  • Provide end user training

  • Collaborate with business, IT, and consultant teams to analyze requirements, propose and execute solutions

Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 years of IT experience. Experience working within the business is strongly preferred (i.e. Accounting/Finance or Operations)
  • Hands on experience with JD Edwards Enterprise One modules (currently version 9.1)
  • Project migration tools (OMW) experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT related field required
  • Ability to lead a project team
  • Very approachable, hands-on, organized, and professional

  • Positive, can do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile when required
