General Job Duties and Responsibilities: * Installing, configuring and maintaining computers, networks andrelated hardware and software * Assist IT Technicians preparing devices for end users * Provide first and second level telephone support and problemresolution. * Identify and resolve computer system malfunctions and operationsproblems * Performs diagnostics of systems issues * Provide support to the IT team * Provide remote IT support with remote control software. * Hardware supported will include: Dell and Cisco servers, Lenovo andDell desktops and laptops, Canon printers, various copiers, Cisconetwork equipment. Provides users with network, PC and software technicalsuppo * Maintaining server and endpoint protection, backups, updates, andother maintenance. * Participating and contributing to IT related projects when necessary. * Configures servers for new deployments per direction of senior staff. * Assists with the administration and maintenance of IP based telephonysystems, such as provisioning handsets, setting up extensions,supporting user requests. * Assist the IT team in server maintenance * Other responsibilities as assigned Physical and Mental Requirements: * Must be self-motivated, professional and positive in approach. * Ability to adapt to a changing environment. * Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees,vendors, clients and business partners. * Must be able to act as the Company liaison for interface with customerrepresentative(s). * Must possess proven problem solving and critical thinking skills * Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal and customerservice skills * Ability to multi-task and be organized * Ability to work effectively both independently and on a team * Flexible in handling assignments and attention to detail. * Ability to lift and move computers, printers and servers. Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements: * Must possess at least a High School Diploma or GED equivalency(Associates Degree in IT Field preferred) * Technical certifications: MCP, A+ are beneficial * Actively studying for Windows or Server certifications or relatedtechnologies * Understands issues involved in administering and maintaining corporateserver, network, and Active Directory infrastructure, including but notlimited to network cabling, testing network connectivity, firewallconfigurations, tablet and desktop internet applications, etc. * Understands issues involved in administering and maintaining corporateserver and Active Directory infrastructure. * Understands basic network address management concepts, including IPsubnetting * Must have knowledge of Windows, network equipment, personalcomputers, and other IT hardware. * Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows 7 * Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously andwork independently * Must meet Company minimum driving standards.EEO and Affirmative Action The IES policy on equal employment opportunity prohibits discriminationbased on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, genderidentity, sexual orient
