We are seeking a Solution Engineer (Pre-Sales) to work closely with the B2B Commerce and Core Account Executives to drive our continued growth, and to help to build the strategy to get us to our 2022 vision.

Salesforce B2B Commerce is the only SaaS based commerce product on the market, built natively in the Salesforce platform. With a core focus in the B2B space, Salesforce B2B Commerce is customer-focused, allowing our clients the ability to provide a tailored experience in order better connect and drive on-going relationships with their customers in ways that are commonly only experienced in B2C environments. The successful candidate will be passionate about both team development and partnering with Sales to deliver the best solutions for our prospects and customers.

Under the new B2B Commerce Global operating model, you will be responsible for leading the solution design throughout the sales cycle and delivering thought leadership to customers to transform their customer’s experience as well as helping the team identify effective strategies to position Salesforce against the competition

You are a Forward Thinker with a passion for Technology and Innovation in Cloud Computing and the benefit this brings to Commerce. You can demonstrate your understanding of industry trends and market opportunities to develop new products and solutions. You have numerous examples of bringing new thinking; to customers, your team and your current company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand customer goals and challenges and map those back to the Salesforce product portfolio

  • Design, build, and demonstrate unique and innovative solutions to address these challenges

  • Present Salesforce technology infrastructure, including demonstrating deep familiarity with the PaaS and SaaS stack

  • Participate in all appropriate product, sales, technical training and certifications to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position

  • Attain quarterly and annual objectives defined collaboratively with management

  • Respond effectively to RFIs/RFPs

  • Active participation in a fast-paced high-energy market segment and balance multiple projects in a team-selling environment

Experience/Skills Required:

  • Analytical skills to create the winning solution

  • Solid oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills - ability to create and perform demonstrations of our solutions

  • Ability to work as part of a network of cross-functional teams to solve technical problems

  • Previous experience working with Salesforce or Experience as a Commerce Solution Engineer
