Your Challenge: The Lead UI/UX Designer is a key member of the project team, responsible for three core activities: 1) identifying end-user needs and behaviors through research (observation, interviews, surveys, analytics, user testing) and advocating for customer-focused solutions with stakeholders; 2) defining requirements for a distinctive, branded, and differentiated user experience; and 3) leading teams to create and deliver high quality digital experiences and artifacts (e.g., UX patterns, wireframes, screens, prototypes, design systems).

The things that you will tackle:

  • Provide thought leadership in the area of design, design thinking, UI implementation and overall UX strategy to customers and stakeholders

  • Mentor the Design team members

  • Define the experience strategy facilitating working

  • sessions with product teams and users to define key design goals and requirements

  • Auditing the landscape competitively and comparatively for inspiration as well as design ideas that can be utilized in the current design process

  • Evangelize user centricity and design thinking within the broader organization

  • Produce high quality graphics and visual components

  • Create prototypes that demonstrate the intended end-user experience and key interactions

  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Technology leaders to ensure successful development, release, and launch of world class product

  • Contribute to business-wide initiatives to strengthen and further develop the design culture

  • Background in interactive design, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience leading teams to deliver high quality, consumer products on desktop, web and mobile platforms

  • Able to design distinctive, intuitive creative artifacts (e.g., wireframes, task flows, screen mockups, prototypes)

  • Understanding of component-based design systems that can be applied at scale

  • Expert command of industry-standard design tools (e.g. Adobe Suite, Sketch, InVision, Figma, Principle, etc.)

  • Experience conducting user research and user testing. Experience with quantitative methods and analytics is a plus.

  • Ability to articulate the difference between user experience and customer experience

  • Knowledge of design systems and low-code approaches to delivering client experiences
