We’re seeking a Manager of Enterprise Risk Management, in our Denver, Colorado office (global headquarters). This position is responsible for assisting in the global rollout, ongoing improvement, and coordination of an enterprise-wide risk management program including risk identification, analysis, mitigation, tracking and reporting to executive management and the Board.

The Enterprise Risk Management program is integral in supporting leadership manage company wide risk while making informed decisions to achieve both short and long term strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the ongoing development and operations of the Company’s Enterprise Risk Management program

  • Researching and recommending ERM best practices, tools, and methodologies to improve the understanding and communication of risk

  • Supporting the development and maintenance of the Enterprise Risk Management Policy and Risk Appetite Framework

  • Working directly with various business functions to identify and report potential risks and opportunities that exist within the Company’s operating environment

  • Where applicable, work with business units to develop and enhance risk mitigation plans

  • Facilitate and support risk assessments and studies, providing research, analysis, advice and other inputs as required

  • Support and execute the planning and facilitation of risk workshops with middle, senior and executive management

  • Create content and conduct risk-based trainings to corporate wide business units and supporting functions

  • Assist in developing and training a “risk champions network” to develop and mature a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk identification of risk in our global business

  • Manage the enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tool implementation and evolution.

  • Oversee the development, population, and maintenance of key riskindicators/metrics

  • Create and provide regular and ad hoc reporting and readouts to senior leadership

  • Train and mentor staff in all facets of the Enterprise Risk Management environment

  • Oversee incident and issues management processes

  • When required, support the Crisis Preparedness and Response function

What you will need to succeed:

  • Demonstrated capability to apply risk management concepts, analysis, and support to strategic decision-making processes

  • Experience assessing and articulating risks in complex businesses environments

  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience implementing, maintaining, or administering GRC technology tools

  • Strong and demonstrable understanding of currencies, economic and financial principles

  • Excellent analytical, written / oral communication and project management skills

  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to collaborate in a global, matrix environment

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems, and recommend sound conclusions

  • Proven ability to drive tasks and resolve issues under tight timeframes

  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information

  • Understanding of IT Risk Management and Information Security

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Math, or equivalent

  • 8 years of relevantEnterprise/OperationalRisk Management experience in business, including financial services
