What you’ll be working on:

  • Content Creation: Responsible for writing and curating engaging content for social media, blogs, website, collateral, white papers, etc.

  • Social Media Strategy and Oversight: Responsible for managing the company’s social presence, including daily posting, monitoring online conversation, engaging customers and prospects, creating content for social channels, and staying up-to-date on trends and news.

  • Email Marketing: Responsible for coordinating, writing, updating and publishing internal company communications (weekly newsletter, departmental news, corporate announcements, etc.), and external customer/prospect communications.

  • Public Relations: Responsible for creating and maintaining the company’s public image through opportunity research, communications dissemination and media relations, as needed. Researches and completes award submissions, identifies conference and speaking opportunities and maintains media contact lists.

  • Advertising: Responsible for researching opportunities, coordinating and managing media schedules, ad campaigns and creative development.

  • Market Research: Responsible for conducting market research, business intelligence and competitive analysis, as needed.

  • Event Coordination: Responsible for coordinating and executing internal and external events including, but not limited to, customer events, trade shows, internal meetings and more, as needed.

  • General Marketing and Communications Projects: Responsible for completing a wide range of projects within marketing and communications including specific items listed above in addition to supporting project proposals and brand management, to name a few.

    What is expected of a Marketing and Communications Coordinator:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism or related

  • At least five years of Marketing coordination or project management experience within a company Marketing department or Marketing

  • Extreme attention to detail required; must be able to apply a consistent, methodical approach to the coordination of marketing projects and related documents that require formatting, copy writing and

  • Experience coordinating all types of marketing projects including advertising, brochures, web, social media, online ads, conference marketing, promotional items, lead generation programs, etc.

  • Very strong writing, editing and proofreading

  • Analytical skills; capable of conducting secondary market research and creating /using simple

  • Web content creation and blog experience preferred but not

  • Social media experience in strategy, advertising, content development and analytics required.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe InDesign and Microsoft

  • CRM experience with Infor, Salesforce and / or marketing automation software preferred.

  • Comfortable building relationships with key business leaders and department managers necessary for quality project coordination.
