Multimedia Sales Coordinators support Account Executives and Account Managers to ensure accurate fulfillment of advertising for a variety of different media platforms and client satisfaction. This position is responsible for various sales support functions.

Essential Functions:

Keep current with sales initiatives for digital and print advertising (e.g., mobile, social, banners, landing pages, impact notes, etc.) to achieve company goals for traffic, sales and net revenues.

  • Facilitate within the sales team the ad processing function for both digital and print.

  • Follow through with advertisers as necessary (e.g., ordering ads, proofs and layouts, making basic corrections in the ad management system, facilitating proof corrections with clients using the on-line proofing tools, etc.).

  • Periodically test ads for functionality, tracking, and quality assurance to ensure that all content is relevant and performing efficiently.

  • Troubleshoot digital and print production problems and provide solutions.

  • Pull availability reports for digital campaigns, using a variety of platforms and / or communicating directly with vendors to obtain the information.

  • Research pending issues by accessing various website platforms and/or contacting the vendor directly to discuss the issues and how to resolve them.

  • Make recommendations to Advertising Sales Executives for active campaigns to achieve campaign fulfillment.

  • Meet print and digital product deadlines to ensure timeliness of ads served/printed.

  • Have a strong knowledge of deadlines, current promotions, and workflows of each print and digital product, and consistently meet those deadlines.

  • Create advertising tracking spreadsheets and pull reports for various digital platforms and print data as needed.

  • Act as a liaison between Account Executive and support teams (Digital, AdTaxi, Research, Creative/Design, Finance, Circulation, etc.).

  • Assist with determining co-op advertising opportunities and follow up on co-op post sale fulfillment.

  • Update and maintain customer files.

  • Fluency in digital and print terminology used by competitive media is a plus.

  • Demonstrated excellent customer (internal/external) service focus

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities; demonstrated time management skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite applications

  • Demonstrated ability to clearly and professionally communicate (verbal and written)
