Job Summary

The financial analyst will be part of the Anaplan – Connected Planning Team that will be responsible for automating disparate planning processes throughout the organization. The team is responsible for identifying use cases, planning the road map, and executing the building of Anaplan models that will connect the organization’s planning processes. The ideal candidate is a team player who possesses strong analytical skills and enjoys solving complex business problems. To be successful, the candidate must act as an internal consultant, able to facilitate problem solving sessions, identify potential solutions and drive the team to action. This individual must also be able to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams and explain complex concepts. The candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is proactive, intellectually curious and possesses the aptitude to work independently in ambiguous environments.

What you will be responsible for

  • Design, build, and deliver Anaplan models to support DCP’s planning and forecasting processes, analysis needs, and reports

  • Must be able to influence and challenge across the business to ensure processes and activities are geared for maximum performance

  • Expert on current process and any upcoming changes in the process, in touch with leadership needs

  • Maintain and update models on the Anaplan platform to support new business objectives and initiatives

  • Identify and formalize best practices in application building and share them across Finance

  • Develop Anaplan models and dashboards in a way that requires minimal training

  • When training is needed, provide hands-on training to end users on Anaplan models

  • Perform ad hoc analyses to support operations, the ICC, and executive leadership as needed

  • Provide analytical support to ad hoc departmental initiatives

  • Configure and maintain Anaplan lists, modules, dashboards, and other model settings to meet business needs

Qualifications :

  • BA/BS degree in a business, logistics, technical discipline or equivalent

  • Strong analytical, organizational, decision making, written and verbal communication and presentation skills to working levels as well as executive levels

  • Oil and gas or consulting experience preferred

  • 2 years of Anaplan build experience, Master Builder certification preferred

  • 3 – 5 years of related experience or combination of education and experience

  • Computer skills/ability to work with various software packages--high competency in Excel, Microsoft Office and PowerPoint

  • Is able to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals

  • Is able to gain the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity and authenticity

  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective relationship management with business partners

Special Demands

This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc.  Noise level is typically low.  Frequently in a stationary, sitting position for prolonged periods of time.  Regularly moves about inside the office to complete tasks, attend meetings or to access the copy machine or file cabinets.  Periodically pulls/pushes doors open to move around the office.  Occasionally may lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds. Occasional travel may be required.

Salary Range

The salary range for this job is $88,300 - $145,600
