Do you havethe consultative and leadership skills to help customers succeed with theircloud efforts?Amazon Web Services is looking for Solutions Architects to help establish AWSas the market leader for the AWS Connect service. This effort is in directresponse to feedback from customers and seeks to address the daily pain pointsof meeting the high bar of delivering outstanding customer service. Thisservice offers a compelling alternative for our customers when faced withmultiple components, channels and vendors, managing long term commitmentsand very complex pricing models, and scaling based upon the specific needsof their businesses.This is a highly technical position for someone who can dive deep, buildcomplex, AWS-optimized architectures, and help customers accelerate theiradoption of this new AWS service. Your broad responsibilities include:owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specificimplementation projects. You should be as comfortable discussing complextechnical details with a room full of engineers as you are briefing anexecutive audience. In addition, you will engage with other AWS solutionsarchitects, partner and professional services organizations to drive largeand highly complex sales opportunities to closure.Here are some other qualities we are looking for:Be great fun to work with. You will have a passionfor educating, training, designing, and building cloud solutions for adiverse and challenging set of customers ranging from small businesses to thelargest enterprises.Responsibilities include:* Ensure customer success in building and launching Connect solutions* Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS, andparticipate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designedfor successful deployment in the cloud* Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledgeto customers considering or already using AWS* Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutionsarchitect community* Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such aswhitepapers* Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customersto enable them to be cloud advocates* Act as a technical liaison between customers, partners, serviceengineering teams and supportThis position can be remote, but candidates must be based near an AWS officelocation (Arlington, Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago,Cupertino, Dallas, Denver, East Palo Alto, Herndon, Houston,Irvine, Minneapolis, New York City, Portland, San Diego, SanFrancisco, Washington D.C., Sunnyvale, Santa Monica, Seattle)Basic Qualifications* Contact Center industry experience* Experience building integrations across WFM, CRM, UnifiedCommunications, and contact center solutions* Working knowledge of popular communications protocols and APIs such asWebRTC and SIP* 7+ years of customer-facing experience, preferably in the enterprise spaceAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
