This role can sit anyplace in the contiguous United StatesAmazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Principal Solutions Architectwho is passionate about helping public sector customers build infrastructuresand applications at scale.Our Principal Solutions Architects are very experienced technologists withtechnical breadth and depth in IT infrastructure coupled with stronginterpersonal skills. As a Principal Solutions Architect, you will workdirectly with some of our largest customers to enable innovation throughcontinuous deployment across technology stacks and demonstrate best practicesaround advanced cloud solutions.You will partner with Sales, Professional Services, and several other AWSteams to help our customers craft highly scalable, flexible and resilientcloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate theadoption of our services. You will provide prescriptive guidance acrossnetworking, storage, operating systems, virtualization, AI/ML,RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Big Data, and mid-tier technologies(application integration, security, in-memory caches).The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of large scale computingsolutions and experience leading deep architecture discussions. They must beself-motivated with a demonstrated ability to think strategically aboutbusiness, products, and technical challenges and have a passion foreducating, training, and designing cloud solutions for enterprise customers.The position requires that the candidate selected be a US CitizenAmazon aims to be the most customer centric company on earth.
