The Engagement Manager will build and maintaina solid working relationship with coworkers and clients, from pre-salesefforts to project delivery. The Engagement Manager will motivate engineeringteams and customers' technology executives, acting as Scrum Master and thecentral point of contact for all parties to orchestrate technical delivery.The ability to manage customer expectations and establish long-termpartnerships by delivering complex projects effectively, on time, onbudget, and according to agreed-upon scope, is critical to the EngagementManager's role.If you get a thrill working with cutting-edge technology and love to helpsolve customers' problems, we'd love to hear from you. Are you ready?What You'll Be Doing:Hands-on project management, including initiation, planning, andexecution of projects and account-related activities, facilitatingresolution of issues and roadblocksDrive key decisions across projects, manage customer expectations, presentand interface with project sponsors, and communicate trade-offs and risksEffectively leverage Agile principles, coaching and training technicalproject and customer team members on best practicesContinue maintaining relationships with customer contacts in collaborationwith sales, during and beyond project deliveryQualifications and Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, orrelated discipline, or equivalent professional experienceAt least 3 years of experience in the technology industry, managing projectsthrough a full lifecycle, ideally within a service delivery / consultancyenvironmentAt least 3 years of hands-on Agile experience, acting as Scrum MasterExtensive knowledge of project management disciplines, methodologies, bestpractices, and toolsStrong communication skills; experience presenting to executivesAbility to travel up to 25%, as neededCustomer-facing consulting experience or experience delivering technologyservices projectsFamiliarity with cloud technologies, software development, networkinginfrastructure, data, and/or securityTechnical background (software development/engineering,database/system design, IaaS)Self-starter with results oriented, proactive management approachAbility to learn on the job quickly and desire to develop expertise in AWSAbility to work in a fast-paced consulting environment and collaborateeffectively as a team member#OnicaAbout Rackspace TechnologyWe are the multicloud solutions experts.
