Amazon's AWS Infrastructure team builds and manages Amazon's data centersworldwide. The Data Center Systems Training and Adoption Program Managersupports the roll-out of new technologies that will increase the availabilityof our data centers. This role provides a unique opportunity to bridgeadvanced mechanical and electrical infrastructure solutions developed in-housewith the data center operators and engineers that use them. The Training andAdoption Program Manager applies their expertise to deliver large-scale,innovative training and adoption programs that demonstrably improve the timeto mastery of our systems for data center operators, engineers, and otherbusiness users globally.A successful candidate will work with instructional designers and subjectmatter experts to develop or modify training that impacts our worldwide datacenter operations, establish trust with a variety of stakeholders acrossmultiple time zones and organizations, re-invent what training and customerconnection looks like in a virtual environment, and re-imagine integratedmethods of learning with new technology such as augmented reality. Increasinguser proficiency of our systems will ensure the health of data center powerand cooling infrastructure.Key Responsibilities include:* Collaborate with business leaders at all levels, from "boots on theground" to VPs, to build and manage a large scale training program fordata center operators and engineers.* Support new infrastructure technology global deployments by creatingtraining content and guiding users through the changes in a scalable manner.* Engage with business leaders at all levels to anticipate learning needs andbuild trust to ensure future deployments are successful.* Develop training effectiveness metrics that go beyond course completions tomeasure the impact of our programs and technology.* Develop and experiment with new learning solutions to improve theeffectiveness of learning.* Provide ongoing program updates and reporting to stakeholders.* Develop mechanisms to gather customer/user feedback and work with oursoftware teams and other program/product managers to analyze,prioritize, and implement changes in our technology.* Dive deep into software technical details as needed to support customerquestions.Basic Qualifications* Bachelor's Degree AND 3+ years of project management experience OR 6+years of project management experience (experience can be substituted fordegre* Demonstrated experience in core project management including managingscope, quality, communications, and risk and critical path management.* Strong, effective written and verbal communication experience toleadership and peers.* Experience working with Software Engineering teams.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
