We are looking for talented and driven people whoare committed to making the vision a reality.The candidate will work collaboratively with all members of the project teamsto create the project work breakdown structure, resource loading andconstruction schedule sequencing for major wind energy projects. Allassociated project controls, scheduling activities, reporting andscheduling software configurations will be the responsibility of thisposition.LOCATION/DEPARTMENTBroomfield, CO Project DeliverySTATUSExemptEssential Job Functions * Develop, monitor and update integrated detailed and summary levelproject schedules so that projects can be executed in the most efficientmanner possible. * Prepare, implement and monitor scopes of work and prepare WorkBreakdown Structure (WBS) for control and integrity. * Manage project schedule including, but not limited to: criticalpath, cost loading, schedule content, relationships and logic,constraints and milestones. * Assess impacts to the schedule critical path activities, reportdeviations and variances and assist in the developing action plans forcorrective action. * Prepare monthly project schedule status updates including: scheduleperformance index (SPI) reporting, cost analysis including costperformance index (CPI) reporting, earned value (EV) analysis, andbudget, actual and forecasted cost analysis and reporting. * Track scope changes, trends and variances that potentially affectschedule performance. * Monitor current scheduling processes to insure proper functionalityand adherence to policy. * Attend project/management meetings. REQUIREMENTS * Must have strong quantitative skills with ability to design moderatelycomplex spreadsheet solutions, database queries, and other analytical tools. * Proven experience with earned value management reporting systems. * Demonstrated ability to be organized and work on multiple projects andmeet deadlines by setting priorities. * Must be able to prepare clear and concise status reports. * Establish and maintain effective working relationships with projectteam. * Strong leadership, verbal and written communications, timemanagement, interpersonal, and organizational skills. * Ability to problem solve and achieve results by setting priorities andstaying organized. * Results oriented person with the ability to work independently withina large matrixed organization while effectively interfacing with the variouscross-functional employee groups. * Expert level skills with Microsoft Software Applications (Word,Excel, PowerPoint and Project).ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL ABILITIES * Ability to meet highest attendance requirements * Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally. * Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a highdegree of accuracy. * Ability to travel up to 20% of the time. * Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc. * Could involve some lifting.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE * Bachelors degree * Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) or equivalentpreferred. * 5-7 years construction or energy project scheduling experience withMicrosoft Project.
