About the Oracle Source to Settle Strategy & Operations Project Lead Intern Position:
Source-to-Settle (S2S) Strategy & Operations is a global organization responsible for supporting 130 thousand employees with their needs in Procurement, Accounts Payable and Employee Expense reimbursement. We have two main organizations:
Strategic - responsible for the policies, business process and systems all employee’s use to support the above functions
Operations - responsible for processing the all transactions for the above functions, using the business processes created by the Strategy teams
Our organizations mission is to support all employee purchases, pay our suppliers and reimburse our employees timely and accurately, while shaping the employee’s experience through process simplification and automation.
We provide an opportunity to work with several different organization and Finance functions across Oracle. We are a team that promotes genuine leadership and collaboration across our organization and the rest of the company. We often collaborate directly with Oracle IT and/or Product Development teams on system enhancements or changes that will directly impact the Finance products we sell to our customers.

Responsibilities:
The project lead, Source-to-Settle Project Office, is responsible for leading and executing cross-functional projects for the S2S organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following:
Assisting in developing and executing business processes to support clear, consistent, and accurate communication, training material, and customer support articles
Supporting key initiatives to improve user experience across all S2S tools and processes, including surveying employees and suppliers, compiling data on feedback, and providing recommendations
The candidate should have lead projects, involving cross-functional areas is a plus. Must be flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamically changing, deadline-driven environment. The individual is a self-starter, requiring manager direction on new tasks or complex situations only. The candidate will have fluency with standard technology, business software and communication writing the capacity to master new technology, as needed quickly
Required Skills and Experience:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Fluent in English
Multi-tasking with good organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt and work well in an isolated (home) location
Ability to handle potentially confrontational situations with patience, diplomacy, and tact
Strong excel and project plan skills
Proven strong decision-making skills
Ability to produce accurate work under pressure with frequent deadlines
Experience discussing and defining business goals and objectives with key functional stakeholders and then ensuring the design solutions achieve those goals, objectives, and requirements
Ability to document requirements and processes
Business degree or related experience

About Oracle Veteran Internship Program:
Oracle is proud to sponsor an internship and integration program that exposes transitioning military veterans and Military Spouses new to the corporate culture, provides hands-on job-skill training and experience, and offers enhanced professional and personal development. At Oracle, we are committed to the development and professional growth of our veterans and military spouses. Our paid intern program is specifically designed to aid military veterans injured during training missions and military campaigns worldwide and active duty military spouses new to the corporate sector in their transition to a career in the private or public sector.
Veterans and Military Spouses accepted into our program will work closely with corporate leadership, military veteran coaches and HR professionals to help prepare for a successful transition. Interns will engage in on-the-job training and professional development in fields such as information technology, technical/systems consulting, technical support, facilities, finance, human resources, logistics, marketing, sales or developmental training in sales or for customer support (as available).
Additional Information:
Hourly wage is $25 per hour. This is a 40 hour per week position.
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
This job code is utilized for the majority of our temporary hires. The individual is performing hourly job duties as defined under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Colorado Pay Range: From $19.57 to $34.24 per hour
From $40,700 to $71,222 per annum
