Position Title: Project ManagerPosition Number: 354355Location: Denver, CO 80216Position Type: TemporaryRequired Skill Set:Management, Methodology, Project Management, TechnicalPosition Description:**Only U.S. Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. can beconsidered as W2 candidates.**This position will be part time @ 20 hours a week / can be adjusted to theworkload as long as the total number of hours adds up.Title: Project ManagerStart Date: 01/11/2021End Date: 04/09/2021Work Location: Denver CO 80216THE SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER Takes projects from original concept through final implementation bydefining project scope and objectives, analyzing project requirements anddetermining best approach to complete project using existing and/or newapproaches, developing detailed work plans, schedules, projectestimates, resource plans, and status reports, managing the projectbudget, and developing plans for transition to operations Facilitates cross-functional teams within client, customer organizationsand vendors Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendordeliverables Collaborates, negotiates and works with others in a matrixed organizationPRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Day to Day Project Management Provides project management and direction to ensure overall success of thelarge, complex initiative by developing project implementation plansincluding project business benefit, scope, objectives, schedule,deliverables, and success criteria that support business goals incollaboration with management and project sponsors Develops an appropriate implementation plan that focuses on current andfuture functional performance objectives, total cost of ownership (TCO)and compliance with client Project Lifecycle Methodology and Enterprisestandar Develops and maintains knowledge of contract and award/RFP proposal,Legislation terms related to implementation, roll-out and budget. Ensuresscope and deliverables from contracted agreement with Vendor, and proposalor related documents are met, on time, and within contracted budget. Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potentialrisks, and devises contingency plans Determines content of status reports from the project team,troubleshoots problem areas and delivers overall progress reports to seniormanagement Conducts project post-mortem assessments and suggests improvement inprocess or procedures Determines what preventive and corrective actions will be taken to bring aproject into schedule and budget compliance (how to get a project back onschedule and within budget) Decides on best approach to convey and communicate stakeholderrequirements and project objectives to appropriate team members, and managesall technical requirements accordingly to realize each for the stakeholderProvides Budget and Resource Management Drafts and submits budget proposals and recommends subsequent budget changes Identifies resources and participants needed to achieve project goals Communicates and coordinates any approved budget changes with contract andbudget personnel before implementation to initiate contractual or budgetarychanges required to maintain compliance with fiscal and procurement rules. Determines and assesses requests for additional staff and/or contractorsand works with outside service providers where needed to complete technologyprojects Negotiates with department managers, when necessary, regarding thesupport of required personnel to ensure project continuity through completion Provides Strategic Project Management Proactively manages full life-cycle of technology initiatives, includingoverall project plan, scope, change control, risks, issues,impacts, and reporting through standardization and best practice projectimplem Promotes the use and adoption of standard Project Lifecycle Methodology(PLM) and supports functional and project managers by providing guidancein the usage of PLM Provides status report of contracted deliverables/timelinesC
