This position willdrive testing for various areas within Technical Operations such as sitereliability testing and analysis, validation of planned infrastructurechanges and end to end testing of new components and technology.Due to federal data handling requirements, candidates must be a US Citizen.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Major areas of responsibility include:* Review requirements and design relative test plans and test cases* Develop automation plans and write test code to execute the plan* Work withengineeringmanagement to scope and planengineeringefforts* Participate in the design and implementation of reliable cloudcomponents* Interface with Development, Architects and Technical Operations* Clearlycommunicate and document QEplans for scrum teams to review andcommentMINIMUM REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:* 3+ years ofQE experience preferably in an enterprise SaaS company* Administration of complex custom applications on UNIX/Linux and EnterpriseJava Platforms* Experience in testing monitoring of distributed, highly available cloudservices* Experience inJava, Rubyandscriptingbasedtest methodologies and automationdevelopment.* Experience with Cloud Security, Network Security and Routing is a plus* Experiencewithsome of the following technologiesand services:Linux (RPMor Deb-based distributions),Cloud based Infrastructure as a Service(especially AWS),MySQL,Ansible,Configuration management systems(Chef/Puppet),Log management tools(Splunk/Sumologic/Kibana),Monitoring systems (Nagios, Zabbix,Wavefront, AppDynamics,NewRelic)* Experience with FedRamp or Security certification is a plusEDUCATION AND TRAINING:* B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related fieldOkta is rethinking the traditional work environment, providing our employeeswith the flexibility to be their most creative and successful versions ofthemselves, no matter where they are located.
