The successful applicant will join our organization at thebeginning of a new business venture. You can help define and implement newbusiness processes. This position will provide program management support ofour customer projects defining relevant KPIs and reporting program performanceto management. The successful candidate will leverage excellent people skillsand prior experience with direct customer contact/support during the rollout of new networked services.This role includes but is not limited to:Definition/Implementation/Sustainment of RTE operations processesTraining of Denver SAC personnel for operations start, and follow on asrequiredSupport site/network documentation of system and networkSupport new system installations and roll outs (new sites to be added in thenext few years)Program management of customer contracted RTE servicesProvide liaison of technical support of SAC team, by Duluth RTE developmentteam members, by defining SAC support documentation and training materialsand driving greater levels of system monitoringLeverage knowledge of existing control processes, and existing supportgroups in our Denver SAC operation to streamline RTE control and supportprocesses to maximize network reliability/availability and reduction ofdowntime.Requirements2 years' experience providing customer support with a 24x7 NetworkOperations Center or similarPrior experience in direct RF gateway and network troubleshooting experiencefrom a central support center or remotely in the fieldPrior experience integrating remote site equipment into global network atDenver Service Assurance CenterEducation, training and experience to understand the principles of operationof satellite communication systems.Experience managing projects with management reporting responsibilities anddirect customer contactExpertise in Microsoft Office and experience authoring process documentation.Travel up to 25% (including, but not limited to global RTE sites,Duluth RTE HQ, etc)Associates Degree in a technical discipline, equivalent work and/orrelevant military experience.US citizenship requiredPreferencesAbility to work under pressure and communicate effectively with customersDemonstrated experience providing remote technical assistance and workingindependently to quickly identify problems and devise a temporary or long termsolutionExperience with additional software tools for systems monitoring a plus.Effective analytical skills to troubleshoot problems to the root causeSecret Clearance or ability to get oneLiving in Denver means you get to enjoy: panoramic vistas on your morningcommute, three hundred days of sunshine, the largest public parks systemof any U.S. city, world-class theatre, museums, and sports teams and acost of living that's easy on your wallet!We are searching for candidates who enjoy working with people and have atechnical mind that excels when being challenged.
