Job TitleResearch AnalystJob Description SummaryThe Research Analyst is responsible for supporting thedevelopment of local research output and thought leadership. Specifically,this position provides support for gathering and analyzing local market dataand interpreting this information to identify trends in the market. Output ofthe analysis is used to produce research deliverables to be included in pitchand/or proposal materials and reflects various market dynamics. The Analystis also accountable for accurate and proactive maintenance of proprietary andthird-party databases with local market data, as well as pulling data fromsaid systems to support thought leadership and forecast development. Thisposition is not specific to a service line, but may specialize by propertytype***This role will be located in Las Vegas, NV. Must be willing and able torelocate.***Job DescriptionEssential duties and responsibilitiesKey responsibilities include:Manages research database(s)Proactively and routinely updates and maintains property databasesCompiles quarterly statistics and run database auditsParticipates in development of local requests for research informationincluding market stats and analysis for prospecting, pitch and/or proposalmaterialsTrains and orients core business units and administrative assistants onresearch products, databases and servicesAnalyzes data, compiles and writes (or assists in writing) quarterly reportsAssists in forecasting and economic outlook information for clientsBACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCEDemonstrated experience should include:Bachelor's degree required1-3 years' experience in real estate industry or businessProfessional acumen, demonstrated interest in commercial real estateExperience in data entry/data management and time series analysis/forecastingCompetenciesVerbal communication/ articulate/ polished: strong oral and writtencommunication skillsConnection/relationship buildingAdaptability/change/fast pace: ability to plan, organize, prioritizeand manage processes in a fast-changing environmentTeam player/collaborationAccountability/ownershipResourcefulness/initiative: ability to successfully resolve problems withminimal directionWork ethic/grit: proactively gather data and confirm accuracy; tenacityto go above and beyondIntellectual curiosity: desire to invest time and energy in CRE knowledgeDatabase operation: ability to efficiently and accurately update and auditdataAttention to detailAdvanced Excel skillsCushman and Wakefield provides equal employmentopportunity.
