Essential Duties and responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading the multiple teams through Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Demo and Retrospective), removing impediments, radiating information, shielding team from outside disruptions.

  • Involved in all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned development projects.

  • Act as point of contact for development projects.

  • Facilitate the definition of scope and objectives for development projects.

  • Assists in developing detailed project plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans and status reports as needed for management communication.

  • Conducts scrum meetings, as well as responsible for planning and story board maintenance.

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.

  • Research assignments on process improvements may be assigned.

  • Works across multiple departments to achieve results.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

  • 6+ years software technology sector experience OR Master's degree in related field plus 4+ years software technology sector experience.

  • 3+ years project management.

  • 2+ years of Scrum Master experience.

  • IT project management experience required, including:

  • Experience in the use of structured methodology (i.e., Scrum, Agile, Waterfall, Iterative, PMI methodology).

  • Experience in the use of Scrum methodology.

  • Experience in the use of Atlassian tools (Confluence, JIRA, etc. or similar).

  • MS Office, intermediate level skills with Word, Excel & Power Point, Project.

  • Demonstrated ability to enlist support of cross functional teams within organization.

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

  • Certified Scrum Master

  • PMP certification

  • Demonstrated strength in problem definition and resolution

  • Project Cost Management

  • Project Management Tools

  • Project Planning

  • Project Issue/Risk Management

  • Project Scope Management
