Essential Duties and responsibilities
Responsible for leading the multiple teams through Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Demo and Retrospective), removing impediments, radiating information, shielding team from outside disruptions.
Involved in all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned development projects.
Act as point of contact for development projects.
Facilitate the definition of scope and objectives for development projects.
Assists in developing detailed project plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans and status reports as needed for management communication.
Conducts scrum meetings, as well as responsible for planning and story board maintenance.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
Research assignments on process improvements may be assigned.
Works across multiple departments to achieve results.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
6+ years software technology sector experience OR Master's degree in related field plus 4+ years software technology sector experience.
3+ years project management.
2+ years of Scrum Master experience.
IT project management experience required, including:
Experience in the use of structured methodology (i.e., Scrum, Agile, Waterfall, Iterative, PMI methodology).
Experience in the use of Scrum methodology.
Experience in the use of Atlassian tools (Confluence, JIRA, etc. or similar).
MS Office, intermediate level skills with Word, Excel & Power Point, Project.
Demonstrated ability to enlist support of cross functional teams within organization.
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
Certified Scrum Master
PMP certification
Demonstrated strength in problem definition and resolution
Project Cost Management
Project Management Tools
Project Planning
Project Issue/Risk Management
Project Scope Management
