Alight Solutions LLC Senior Payroll Analyst in Denver, Colorado

The Payroll Senior Analyst is responsible for the day to day productivityacross their assigned clients, which can include multiple service locationsand platforms. The Senior Analyst is responsible for ensuring timely executionof ongoing client deliverables, as well as developing solutions to complexproblems across their assigned clients. The Senior Analyst can serve as theprimary operations escalation point, internally and externally, along withthe Domain Process Lead or Operations Services Manager. The Senior Analystwill also be responsible for coaching of junior colleagues, contractors andvendors as appropriate.Key ResponsibilitiesThe individual will be The Lead Onshore Payroll AnalystWill lead Internal MS Teams Chat ensuring Payroll Tasks are performed timelyfor on-cycle and off-cycle payroll processingWill lead weekly call with clientDaily communication with client contacts via phone and email to resolvepayroll related issues and/or answer payroll processing inquiriesCollaborating with internal teams : ex. Garnishments, Tax Shared Services TeamAct as subject matter expert and execute assigned deliverables for clients inaligned focus area (ie: Payroll, HCM, and Talent).Monitor the workload across aligned operations ensuring business as usual andprojects are delivered to required deadlines with quality. Actively monitoroperational health by testing and ensure processing checklist/SOP is followedProvide case management oversight and adherence to turn-around timesCreate, manage and execute on required recovery plans and Root CauseAnalysis documentation, as necessaryConduct applicable risk-based auditing to ensure consistent and accurateresultsEnsure appropriate evidence is provided/documented for SOC Control tasksDrive overall quality control as well as support and identify opportunity forprocess optimization and automationSupport the Operations Service Manager (OSM), Client Service Manager(CSM) and/or Delivery Executive in consultative best practiceconversations with the client(s)Participate in domain specific Change Request requirements sessions,resource estimation exercises, and internally initiated projectsCoordinate testing and develop complex reportsPartner with Client Service Manager and/or Service Delivery Manager tomitigate financial impacts of Errors and Omissions (EandOs).Adhere to Operating System guidelines and supporting POV and industry bestpracticesOwn initial day- to- day client escalations, Communicate escalations to theCSM, Delivery Executive, Operations Services Manager (OSM), ProcessLead and client, as appropriate, for awareness and management of furtherescalaSupport effective cost management practices and suggest operationalimprovementsWork Experience3 + Years as Senior Payroll Analyst/Payroll Processing LeadExperience with Workday Payroll Strongly PreferredExperience with both US and Canada payroll strongly preferredExperience working with Global TeamsMust have client facing experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience with Workflow, MoveIT, Maestro, CIC+, SymmetryExperience releasing ACH, Approving PAMSData analysisEducation:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experiencePayroll/Tax Professional Certifications a plusBy applying for a position with Alight, you understand that, should you bemade an offer, it will be contingent on your undergoing and successfullycompleting a background check consistent with Alight's employment policies.Background checks may include some or all of the following based on the natureof the position: SSN/SIN validation, education verification,employment verification, and criminal check, search against globalsanctions and government watch lists, fingerprint verification, creditcheck, and/or drug test.
