72313BR Senior Performance Improvement LeaderSenior ProfessionalJob DescriptionCerner's Value Management Advisory Services is partnering with clientscreating Value Alignments that are focused on improving quality and outcomeswhile reducing costs. Cerner collaborates with our partners utilizingexpertise in process improvement, information technology and organizationalchange to analyze and identify inefficiencies and then deliver changestrategies for targeted improvement.As a Senior Performance Improvement Leader you will cultivate the clientrelationship to achieve business objectives, lead strategic discussions withexternal client to define key value objectives for the engagement, scope,and success metrics. You will lead the development of an analytics strategyand oversee the DMAIC process to evaluate opportunities and implementimprovements surrounding people, process, and technology. You will analyzekey data points to determine baseline measurements, identify key changemanagement strategies and methods to monitor performance and adoption ofchanges. As a leader on the team, you will educate internal and externalstakeholders in applying process improvement tools and methodologies. In scopeyou will lead performance analysis and discovery with clients to develop aperformance improvement strategy and approach that achieves improvementobjectives and support business development by defining new portfolioofferings via the creation of collateral and repeatable processes.QualificationsBasic QualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experienceAt least 5 years of technology implementation work experience or strategicconsulting work experienceAt least 1 year of process improvement work experiencePreferred QualificationsMaster's Degree in Information Technology, Business, Health Care orrelated fieldAt least 5 years of health care information technology (HCIT) projectmanagement, sales or consulting work experienceAt least 2 years of Financial Management work experienceAt least 2 years of Project Management work experienceSix Sigma Green Belt CertificationExpectationsWilling to travel up to 80% as neededMust be located in the Kansas City area or within 60 miles from a virtuallyapproved cityWilling to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by localregulationsWork in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies andprocedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and clientassets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises ofsecurity within scope of positionPerform other responsibilities as assignedAdditional InformationApplicants for U.S. based positions with Cerner Corporation must be legallyauthorized to work in the United States.
