Blackstone Technology Group Senior Technical Project Manager in Denver, Colorado

Duties and Responsibilities:* Responsible for managing large, complex global IT projects, with aprimary focus on Oracle EBS R12 migrations, implementations, and upgrades* Overall management of teams and assigned projects including coordination,status reporting, financials, scope, schedules, etc.* Facilitation of requirements sessions* Ensure team is working as an effective unit, and build consensus* Communication and Change Management for assigned project(s)* Track milestones and make adjustments as necessary* Utilize and implement project management methodologies that ensures projectsare delivered on time, on budget, adhere to a high quality standard, andmeet customer's requirements* Work directly with clients to determine project scope and specifications* Assist with preparation of project related documents* Report to multiple levels of the organization on project status, issues,etc.* Travel approximately 30% depending on projectsRequirements:* 17+ years Project Management experience* Demonstrated experience managing large, complex global transformationprograms and projects across multiple disparate businesses, factories,time zones, etc.* Demonstrated experience facilitating and leading requirements gatheringsessions, design sessions, etc.* 10+ years hands-on, functional experience in Operations and Manufacturing* Demonstrated experience leading business process reengineering initiatives* PMP certification* Master Black Belt certification highly desirable* 7+ years in a functional business role required (Operations,Manufacturing, Purchasing, etc.)* 10+ years working with Oracle as an end user in a functional role* 5+ years Change Management experience* 5+ Oracle upgrades from 11.5.X to R12* Experience in a $750M+ manufacturing environment with multiple globalmanufacturing locations, multiple product lines, disparate businessprocesses, etc.* Expert level knowledge of MS Project* Prior experience working in an environment with multiple business units,running multiple ERP systems, and consolidating down to a single environment* Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, Engineering,Information Technology, or Computer Science from an accredited college orunive* MBA preferred* Prior experience working directly with end users* Detailed knowledge of Oracle operations, manufacturing modules* Global implementation experience* Experience integrating multiple business and systems* Experience with PLM systems and how they interact with Oracle EBS* Ability to present to "C" level executives* Self-starter who can initiate action and follow through with well-definedsolutions and plans* Ability to work globally and cross culturally* Excellent spoken and written English skills* Highly effective conducting and leading project meetings and drivingconsensus* Willingness to travel to support projects* Prior experience working with both onshore and offshore teams, as well as3rd party implementation partners* Experience creating and administering SharePoint project and/or team sitesEOE of Minorities/Females/Veterans/Disabilities
