This industry has typically had older systems but is experiencing a resurgence in interest to update their systems and utilize the latest techniques in data science to become more efficient, effective, safer, and profitable. Job Summary

Premios is currently looking for a: Software Developer. This position will work with clients to help analyze, design and develop technology systems and tools to utilize in the organization which can help promote efficiency in their organizations. The ideal candidate will have worked in the technology industry, preferably specific to the oil and gas markets. The candidate should have a good understanding of the agile methodology for implementing technology tools into an organization. The successful candidate will have experience working in a software architect role, specifically working for technology-based services.

Work Activities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Internet/intranet applications using C#

  • Develop software to interact with Microsoft SQL Databases.

  • Experience with Microsoft Entity Framework highly desirable.

  • Experience with development of Azure Logic Apps

  • Working knowledge of networking, including firewalls, VPNs, etc

  • Applied knowledge of Networking in Azure strongly desired

  • A working knowledge of Azure Exchange would be nice-to-have.

  • Document solutions appropriately

  • Actively participate in team meetings; troubleshoot development and production problems, and support documentation.

  • Perform complex analysis, design, and development tasks independently with minimal direction and guidance.

  • Provide direction and guidance to less experienced application developers as required

  • And all other duties as required.

Experience:

  • 6 years of experience in the field

  • 4 years of experience supporting Premios Tech Stack

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) App Builder or equivalent certification/training required.

  • Oil & Gas industry experience is preferred.
