We re looking for individualswho are natural GIS evangelists and enjoy identifying and implementingstrategies that will radically improve the challenges businesses face. You llwork closely with a team that helps our customers take advantage ofgeoanalysis to find unique patterns, trends, and understanding hiddenwithin complex business problems. Provide your hands-on knowledge of theArcGIS platform, and mobile applications, to assist our account team showthe business value of GIS within the Utilities Industry.Responsibilities: * Build relationships. Become a core member of an account team as yousell and implement Esri software and solutions * Be an expert. Become a subject matter expert of the Utility Industry aswell as a technical expert of Esri s complete platform * Solve problems. Proactively craft and propose solutions that clarifyhow GIS brings business value to our customers by addressing the criticalbusiness challenges they face. Define and deliver platform strategies tocustomers that align Esri s platform with their business * Tell our story. Present GIS technical demonstrations of proposedsolutions to clients. Understand how to design presentations for technical andnon-technical customers within various organizations. Provide platformconfiguration guidance and best practices REQUIREMENTS * 2+ years of experience with the ArcGIS platform using editingtools, performing spatial analysis, and creating geodatabases * Demonstrated experience in technical consulting and conceptual solutiondesign as well as an understanding of sales and business development processes * Experience with DBMS technology such as SQL Server, DB2, Oracle,and Access * Knowledge of cloud computing concepts in addition to on-premisesolutions * Capable of leveraging data from apps such as Facebook, Evernote,Dropbox, etc. * Experience integrating software solutions with other business systemsincluding data warehousing, BI, CRM, ERP, and analytics platforms * Remarkable presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills * Bachelor s or master s in geography, computer science, or a relatedfield Recommended Qualifications: * Past participation in developer events (hackathon, hackfest,codefest, etc.) * Ability to troubleshoot client issues related to Esri applicationdeployment and system architecture * Some programming and scripting experience with .NET, Java,C++, Python, JavaScript, Flex, and/or Silverlight, iOS, Android, HTML5 * Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise web applications or other webapplication development * Direct experience in the Utility Industry THE COMPANY Our passion for improving quality of life through geography is at theheart of everything we do.
